Act of Accession of Spain to the European Communities

The Act of Accession of Spain to the European Communities is a treaty that joined Spain in the European Economic Community, it was signed on June 12, 1985 in the Columns hall of the Royal Palace of Madrid to became effective on January 1st,1986. It was made as the same time as Portugal.

After that,Spain was in economic prosperity period, that supposed the end of the international loneliness that suffered since the Potsdam Declaration in August 1945 and the stabilization of the democracy.
